/ A much needed break

Last weekend I spontaneously went away for a 3d 2n beach holiday in Pangkor. I made my decision to go only 14 hours before the departure time, called up another friend who was also as spontaneous as I was, he called up his other friend and the 3 of us set off to this getaway. Literally to get away from all the shit that was in KL.

My goals to achieve for this trip was to tell myself that there's so much more out there apart from what I've grown to get used to in my daily life, more interesting people that I needed to meet and its possible for the human mind to just get our mind off shit and enjoy the weekend.

The entire trip was really good. It was all about boozing up all day, not judging anyone at all and just opening up. Simple things like good conversation and sitting by the beach never felt so good. Of course, I brought my 7 foot dolphin float to ride the waves. That dolphin ended up being used by a friend of mine as a chic magnet. He did well. Some people I met we're amazing, they we're so down to earth it was unbelievable. Them being themselves and nothing like anything else made them the coolest people in my eyes. Damn.... it's been a while since I saw real non-pretentious people.

My favourite part of the getaway was playing the guitar and having everyone sing along on the beach, 2 nights in a row. Music and guitar playing has always, always been my personal anti-depressant drug.

I hope whoever who went on that trip to find answers got them. I didn't really get any answers but I think I'm on the right track to find them now.

Here's to the future. Have a drink on me. Cheers.
